Emotions Matter is supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Vibrant Emotional Health in their legislative efforts to protect sustainable federal funding for the 988 and crisis line intervention services and to advocate for mental treatment access.  

Suicide Prevention is a critical social issue that Emotions Matter's Advocacy Committee seeks to address through its 2025-2027 Strategic Plan.  One strategy we will utilize to engage in suicide prevention is to partner with larger national partners engaged in the suicide prevention advocacy.
