BPD & Substance Use Group

Emotions Matter is piloting a new, free peer support group for adults impacted by both BPD and substance use.

This three-group pilot creates a space to connect with others who understand the experience of navigating BPD and substance use. Each group focuses on a different topic and is facilitated by trained Emotions Matter peer facilitators with lived experience.

Two groups remain in the pilot series:

What to Expect

Our groups use a drop-in model, which means you can attend an upcoming group even if you haven’t attended previous sessions.

Groups include introductions, a short peer narrative related to the session topic and open conversation. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Cameras can be on or off.

Our groups are peer support, not therapy. Facilitators participate as peers with lived experience and do not provide clinical advice or treatment.
